The Carrickmacross Toy Library is now the hub of Toy Libraries Ireland. This is a new national movement promoting community toy libraries nation wide. A toy library is a community-based resource which enables families to borrow a wide selection of high-quality toys for a low fee. To celebrate the launch, Toy Libraries Ireland has released a ‘Starting a Toy Library’ playbook – which has been described as the ultimate how-to guide for setting up your own community toy library.
