Carrickmacross Toy Library opened in September 2020. From a basic ‘click and collect’ service, we have grown to become a valued community resource with dedicated premises in Carrickmacross Shopping Centre.
We serve members from throughout County Monaghan and beyond to counties Louth, Cavan and Meath.
As well as access to a collection of hundreds of high-quality toys suitable for ages 0-8, members enjoy ‘stay and play’ and themed pop-up play sessions, both on and off-site.
We are open every Friday morning, 10am-midday; alternate Saturdays 2.30-4.30pm; and alternate Wednesdays, 3.30-5.30pm.

Find us in Unit 11, Carrickmacross Shopping Centre, 13a Main Street (beneath Hughes’ Coffee Shop); there is ample parking to the rear or the Centre.
Carrickmacross Toy Library was established in 2020 by a small group of parents, with the strong belief in the power of play and commitment to reducing waste and unnecessary consumption. That ethos still holds true today. Team bios coming soon!
